Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small files saved by a website. Local storage is another way to save information in your browser. This policy covers both, even though the marketing website currently uses local storage rather than cookies for the entries listed below.
All entries below are first-party storage managed by ComplyComp by Accomplice AB, Swedish organisation number 559023-6708. Essential storage supports your requested preferences. Campaign measurement is optional and starts only after you opt in.
What the marketing site stores
| Name / type | Purpose and information | Duration |
|---|---|---|
complycomp.cookieConsentEssential · localStorage | Your choice for campaign measurement, policy version, choice time and expiry time. | 180 days from your most recent saved choice. |
complycomp.marketingLanguageEssential · localStorage | The language you manually select (English, Swedish, Spanish or French). | No automatic expiry. Change your language or clear browser storage to remove it. |
complycomp.firstTouchOptional · localStorage | Landing page path, referring page without query or fragment, UTM source, medium, campaign and content, first-visit time and expiry. If you register or sign in, this may be attached to your account profile. | Up to 180 days from the first visit recorded after consent. Removed on withdrawal; expired records are discarded when next accessed. |
Consent records are stored on your device; the banner does not send them to a separate consent-log service. The marketing pages do not load Google Analytics or advertising pixels.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer, or the button at the top of this page, at any time. Choose Essential only to turn off campaign measurement and delete its browser record. Accepting and rejecting are available together. You can also switch campaign measurement on or off and save your choices.
No choice means optional measurement stays off. We ask again after 180 days or when a new consent version is required. If browser storage is blocked or cleared, your choice may not persist. You can delete local storage through your browser’s site-data settings.
Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not remove information already linked to your account. Contact us to request deletion of that information.
When you open the app or demo
The app is separate from the marketing pages. Firebase Authentication may use IndexedDB or local storage to keep your requested sign-in or demo identity. Protected app actions use Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise through Firebase App Check for abuse prevention. These security tools are not loaded by the marketing banner.
The demo can also use session storage for a sample public report, cleared when the browser tab’s session ends. Rejecting optional campaign measurement does not prevent you from opening the demo or signing in.
